HOW DO YOU USE THE SIDECAR FEATURE?
Sidecar feature is quite easy to use. You simply need to connect your iPad to your Mac using Bluetooth or a regular charging cable. If you choose to connect them using Bluetooth, you will have to make sure the two devices stay within 10 meters of each other.
This feature is meant to provide extra screen space for your Mac device. Apple has announced that it will work with most drawing apps.
The feature can only be used in specific devices, and you will have to get the iPadOS 13 software update. You will first have to connect your Mac device with your iPad. How to Sidecar an iPad?
To use Sidecar and extend your Mac's display with your iPad, ensure both devices meet the system requirements (macOS Catalina or later on the Mac and iPadOS 13 or later on the iPad). Then, make sure both devices are signed in with the same Apple ID and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
On your Mac, click the AirPlay icon on the menu bar and select your iPad from the list. Alternatively, go to System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement and enable "Show displays in the menu bar."
