Just doesn't do a very good job of holding anything unless you're using a magnet. Works great with the magnet.
I have only had the MacBook Stand by Yohann but cannot do with out it at home going forward. I have ordered one for my spouse. My only comment regarding this improvement is that it really requires the supplementation of a keyboard to gain all the benefits. Therefore, even though I think it is now essential, it is not complete by itself.
This beautiful stand works with iPad, as well as other e-paper tablets like reMarkable and Kindle Scribe. The multiple viewing angles, magnets to hold pens, and the beautiful wood grain complements any modern desk.
